   Once you get there the Hotel Reps will be more than happy to accommodate your request.. not sure about the spearfishing though
   As a diver I avoid the DR because it is so over fished due to the economy and no government regulated reef parks

   When you get there check with the resort,there are lots of excursions and charters available.If you are going to Puerta Plata,they sell day trips right out of the main mall there also.We are leaving in 3 weeks,5th time down there.

   im not 2 sure there but you should really be careful, because i have heard theres a lot of crime there, so hang onto your money and possesions carefully

   It depends on what part of the island you are going to and which I would recommend. Can you put in the town you are staying in?
   PS> Ask for Punta Cana Mike for Charters

   Just ask when arrived at your destination ( Hotel / Tour desk) they will help you. But some regions (coast/waters) are poor of fish.

   At the resort they will be happy to tell you what’s going on – but don’t go anywhere on your own .
